No doubt the past few months have been ripe with amazing opportunities and general fabulosity. In early March, bunny amour Mr. Mickey was still à Paris gaga-ing over the fall collections, so mama Kim and sir David sent your bunny friend out west to cover the action. I ended up chilling with Cory and Mark for a good portion of the party, and even got to snap some photos with Mark's huge camera!
The Lady Tigra was so beyond personable and engaging. Perhaps it was way more obvi than I would have hoped, but whatever the reason she easily ascertained that I was a mayjah fan. I'm just happy I forgot my sunglasses - I had the same Marcs on in the morning! Miss Tigra and I partook in a mini-photoshoot on this picturesque Japanese footbridge at the Sunset Marquis taken by the über talented J. Everette Perry. Fun fun fun! In fact, Everette even asked if I'd ever be interested in modeling for him in La La Land! Apparently he was on the qui vive for a little redhead for some editorial spread he's conceptualizing on a beach or something. I'll keep you posted.
Highlights?
- It was truly an honor to meet Arianne Phillips. She just styled the Demi/Scout/Tallulah/Rumer spread in the current Harper's Bazaar.
- LiLo was absolutely glowing!
- The melodious Marnie Herald & co. offered me a phenomenally generous little Diesel "deal".
- Speaking of which, the super sweet and adorable Alessia Rosso and I spoke of art - and our shared passion for Impressionism - and she gave me a pretty dank Diesel sticker. It's currently adorning my MacBook Pro and providing a Cobrasnake/Africa, a Greenpeace, and a Cory Kennedy/Vague 1990 sticker ample company. Merci beaucoup!
- As the lunchipoo quieted down, Kim, David, Jeremy, and your bunny friend sipped coffee (or in Jeremy's case, hot chocolate) and gabbed a bit. So many super secret sensationally mind-blowing projects and collabs are in the works! Desolé... I'm a loyal lapin: no dish here!
David and Kim are soooo excedingly considerate... they gave me a ride back to the Beverly Wilshire when my driver didn't feel like showing. Post-blogging for Papier, I bunny hopped (well, actually I took a pretty sweet Bentley compliments of the Bev Willy) over to Urth Caffé to pick up some vegan goodies.
OMG! Literally the absolute best organic vegan oatmeal raison cookie that I've ever noshed! And the vegan brown rice tempeh sushi? To die for!
Well, sans any actual fish dying.
